For about a year now I've been working at ocProducts, solely concentrating on improving ocPortal and fulfilling the needs of clients - I have been personally active on websites like I used to, other than our own.
I thought it was time that I dipped back into the forum world where most of our users spend their online time, to catch up and make sure I'm properly aware of the needs of our users.
Therefore spread over the last couple of weeks, I researched what forum communities are most popular, visiting most of them. It's been a very interesting experience. Last night I joined about 60 different forums. And today, over the course of the day, I've been posting on 18 different forums.
To be honest, not much has changed in the last year: The user experience is just the same. However, I now have a better knowledge of what kind of sites are most popular, and I'm reminded of our users, so it's definitely been worthwhile .
