ocPortal 7.1.3 released

Version 7.1.3 has now been released. This version is a patch release that introduces a number of bug fixes since the last release. It is released one day after 7.1.2 due to two new issues found in that release. Upgrading is not necessary if the issues are not major to you.

To upgrade follow the steps in your website's http://mybaseurl/upgrader.php script. You will need to copy the URL of the attached TAR file (created via the form below) during step 3.

You can generate an upgrader from any version of ocPortal to any other version. If you access this upgrade post via the version information box on your Admin Zone front page then we'll automatically know what version you're running.

Fixes have been made to the following issues

Fixed addon management screen (issue in 7.1.2)
Fixed previews (issue in 7.1.2)
Fixed unicode-preservation in po language pack export for Launchpad
Speculative fix to possible po export bug on some servers
Fixed display of default language string values when editing a language file
Stopped incomplete imported po files from Launchpad leading to lots of blank language strings
Some type strictness fixes
When editing a CEDI page the description is not required anymore (should not have been)
If a posting field that is required is left blank it will now scroll to it when submitting
Fixed editing scheduled news posts that have already gone live (they were marked unvalidated)
Worked around ckeditor bug on dark themes
Fixed dropdown lists on dark themes on some browsers
Added OpenGraph image support for news articles

Went smoothly - v 7.1.1 to 7.1.3.

First time using ocPortal's upgrade software.

I am impressed.

I upgraded from site and noticed the Previews don't work after upgrade. I then downloaded .tar file and still have new preview, it show blank when I click on it.

Chat Requests

With the upgrade from 7.1.1 to 7.1.3, I'm getting chat requests from "Guest" and "admin " (me). I've checked permision settings for "Guest" and I should not be getting these constant chat requests.

What bugs me is that I'm getting constant chat "requests" from myself. Is there a fix, or a bad setting on my end that I should be checking?

The 'chat requests' bug seems to have been fixed. It might not have been a bug at all. I checked the permission settings and the chatroom was set to 'view' by guests so it's possible that it was due to the configuration.
