Version 6.2 RC1 has now been released. This version is a feature release that introduces a number of small new features and bug fixes since the last release. Upgrading is not yet recommended for live sites due to changes that have not been widely tested yet in the date/time code, the email code, and all the form templates. That said, this site is now running 6.2 and running very smoothly so far.To upgrade follow the steps in your website's http://mybaseurl/upgrader.php script. You will need to copy the URL of the attached TAR file (created via the form below) during step 3.
Please make sure you take a backup before uploading your new files!
Your upgrade to version 6.2 RC1
You can generate an upgrader from any version of ocPortal to any other version. If you access this upgrade post via the version information box on your Admin Zone front page then we'll automatically know what version you're running.

New features:
- Support for proper Time-zone selection has been added, so different users can have different daylight-saving periods; migration from the old system of offsets is automatic
- Added AJAX-driven error messaging for a number of possible field errors, such as codenames already existing, or CAPTCHAs being entered incorrectly
- If possible the default theme will no longer be used for emails, even if the email is triggered from a zone running the default theme
- Emails are now always sent in the correct language for the recipient (as opposed to the language of the triggerer/CRON)
- The new CSS editor now shows CSS class definitions in tooltips over the selector links
- Improved boolean searches and autodetection of boolean searches, if the explicit option has been disabled via the hidden option to do so
- Support for auto-truncating to avoid chopping-off text mid-word
- Added some additional Admin Zone search synonyms
- Compulsory WYSIWYG fields may now be marked in red when not filled in
- ocPortal chat usernames now include the local logged in user as well as the site name
- If stack traces are enabled for all errors, a message says that this is the case and not to consider them all bugs
- Added HTTP caching for downloads
- Added HTTP caching for attachments
- Added a note in the FOOTER template on how to insert site date/time
We have also renovated the styling on our own forum, in rapid response to user feedback. These changes are not being included in ocPortal at this time as they require CSS3 and are currently experimental.

Comments
Actually, it IS centred, but you can try removing or reducing the 'padding: 0 20px;' in '.ocf_topic_poster_name' in 'ocf.css'.
-OR-
Increase the column width.
*edit*
removed it (set to 0) because some nicknames still were too long. But thanks anyway :0)
Now all i need to remember is what version i had in order to upgrade to the rc ^^
*edit* the new templates didnt work :0(
I hope you will incoporate soon as it looks much.. smoother here than it does on our forum (though i always liked the look of that one much more still than any other BB system..)
Nice changes still

Thanks!
Because of the successive updates I spent a lot of time searching for differences in the language files that I had translated, rather than completing the translation of the rest of the files .
So please, inform us and try to specify if any changes were made in any language file according the new released features to go forward these changes instead of searching all files every time a new update is released
thank you
But also the criticise language pack feature in ocPortal is very useful.
Any changes we make to existing strings are very small and not required, it is usually just usability.
However if you're very bothered about them a tool like WinMerge can be used to compare the lang/EN directories of two different ocPortal versions and automatically show the differences.
