Big update, new support options

Experts by the hour

After about a year of planning, and months of very hard work, we are proud to announce our new "Experts by the hour" service.

"Experts by the hour" replaces our old support ticket system, and will streamline the support process for our customers, while improving our response times behind the scenes.

The new system is a pre-pay service, allowing customers to access commercial support and development services through our new support ticket system. Customers can choose a priority for requested work, to receive the best rates for low priority jobs, or urgent service in emergencies.

"Experts by the hour" is the cornerstone of our commercial support – the place to go for any customers looking for answers direct from ocProducts. This includes one-time questions, up through personalised training programs and custom support & development.

Because the service is pre-pay, (you use your balance of un-spent 'credits' for support), we can run it very efficiently – ensuring fast service to our customers. All official contact to ocProducts now uses the ticket system. This includes feedback and bug reports, which can be submitted as free tickets.

The community (user to user) forums and documentation will of course remain. We're dedicated to encouraging the community, because we recognise that not everyone is in a position to pay for commercial support.

Full service agency

Two years ago ocProducts was a software company, selling ocPortal as a commercial CMS.
Since then a lot has changed – we now have an entirely different business model, and are in fact a services based agency, with specialities covering design and marketing just as much as programming and servers.

We now offer full-deployment website installations utilizing the power of ocPortal. We have a new page which explains how we manage our projects, and highlights the great range of expertise we bring to bear. There is a portfolio page, showing some of the projects we've done over the last 2-3 years. It may come to a surprise to many people that there are actually some big and very unique ocPortal sites out there that we've done, that haven't been mentioned here before.
