A very handy new feature for websites run by a team is 'Edit conflict detection'.
If a user tries to edit the same resource another user is already editing then ocPortal will flag up a highly visible error message to the second user warning them of the problem.
The benefit of this feature is huge and obvious: it is no longer likely that two members of staff will edit the same resource at once such that the second editor wipes out the changes made by the first (because the second editor started editing before they had access to the changes made by the first editor but finished editing after those changes were made, hence overwriting them). This situation isn't a rare one, and we're pleased we've been able to come up with a clever way to make the detection work by using an 'AJAX' technique.
'Edit conflict detection' is implemented consistently for almost every editable ocPoral resource.
Another change we've made is to clean up the site statistics. To be frank, the module shipped with ocPortal 2.x was not in good shape, and almost all of the code for it has either been completely rewritten, or cleaned up in a major way to make even better SVG graphs, with a more logical and coherent layout for the module.
