Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.


3.0.3 released

3.0.3 released Version 3.0.3 has now been released. This version is a minor release that introduces a number of bug fixes since the last release, as well as minor changes that we considered important. Upgrading is suggested as there are fixes to a large enough variety of isses.

To upgrade from any previous 3.0.x release, simply upload the files inside the attached zip file over existing files. After this is done, run http://mybaseurl/force_upgrade.php.

  • Bad CMS menus for non-admins
  • Calendar event awards broken
  • Comment-topics posts missing from all forum drivers except OCF and phpBB
  • Error when adding/editing a catalogue entry

  • Error when posting in a comment topic with IPB driver
  • Files cannot be attached to catalogue entry by editing
  • Inline-Personal-Posts show in ocPortal comment topics
  • Memory excessiveness for permission form fields
  • Previewing forms with uploads causes a server-side missing field error after submitting
  • Previewing on an edit page is broken
  • Problems when combining WYSIWYG editor with preview
  • RSS time cutoff broken for all feeds but news and birthdays
  • Stats problems
  • Topics with new polls come out unvalidated
