Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS. ocPortal 9 is superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

3.0.2 released

3.0.2 released Version 3.0.2 has now been released. This version is a minor release that introduces a number of bug fixes since the last release. Upgrading is suggested due to there being a large quantity of fixes.

To upgrade from any previous 3.0.x release, simply upload the files inside the attached zip file over existing files. After this is done, run http://mybaseurl/force_upgrade.php.

Fixes have been made to the following issues (Described in more detail):
  • 'Splurgh' (tree-view) functionality error
  • Bad cacheing for side_calendar block
  • Can't save template to a theme with 'default' in it's name
  • Catalogue entry viewing and editing html-escaping issues
  • Error when choosing a catalogue entry to edit
  • Error when deleting a quiz
  • Error when deleting chatroom
  • Error when submitting to a comment topic that requires validation
  • Error when viewing a download that requires points
  • Gallery do-next bugs
  • Inconsistant weekday start
  • Major problem editing download categories, galleries, and catalogue categories
  • Module uninstall failure
  • Newsletter subscriber view broken
  • Outmoding selection broken
  • Post templates fail with WYSIWYG
  • Problem with main_gallery_embed block
  • Shoutbox failure
  • Subscription listings broken
  • Wordfilter error after deleting all words
In addition, other very minor bugs have been fixed, error handling has been improved, the code editor is improved, and the free version no longer says 'unregistered' in the corner.
