I intend to. I wouldn't mind hitting a hundred provided I have my faculties and only a modicum of aches and pains. Bob

I agree that with experience comes wisdom but disagree that with age comes wisdom. Some experience life at a far more accelerated rate than others and have a greater capacity to take more out of the experience. Some people are not a day wiser at 80 than they were at 30. I will re-phrase. Happy Birthday wise old man. |

I agree that it is experience and not age that brings wisdom. But I also see many people (including my niece) trying to cram more experiences into their relatively short years without taking the time to absorb what those experiences offer. At any rate, it's nice to live long enough to have the breadth of experiences I've had and to hopefully become a better person for it. My goal in life is simple: I am content if I can learn one new thing each day, no matter how small. Bob

Sometimes age does bring wisdom because as we age we become more aware of the fragility of life and hold more respect for what truly is important and that in itself is wisdom. |

This is particularly meaningful given your recent loss. Bob |
