For some reason this is still not working.

Did you clear your block cache after applying this fix?

Avatar
Yep did it though both the admin zone and though the ctrl+alt+shift + refresh.

Avatar
I still can not get this to work and I went into the sql and emptied the ocp2_cache and its still not showing any images.

A new bug was introduced in a recent patch release.
Please remove line 88 of sources/blocks/main_gallery_embed.php which is:

Code

      $entries=new ocp_tempcode();

Avatar
Hmm nothing is on line 88 but that code is on line 92 on my file.

Avatar
Removing it does work though.

Avatar
The code appears in line 77 as well, pertaining to 'images'. Line 88 is in relation to 'videos'.

I haven't followed precisely what effect Ami has been chasing, but if this was a 'bug' introduced in a recent patch release:

Q1. Does it affect all users?
Q2. Does line 77 also need to be changed?

Thanks.

Avatar
I just changed line 92 and it works.

Avatar
wait when I look at line 77 it shows

Code

$select.') ORDER BY id DESC');
But line 80 does have the code Chris mentioned.

Avatar
To clarify, the second copy of the line:

Code

$entries=new ocp_tempcode();
should not be there, as it breaks the block for all users.

So only that line I pointed out needs removing. The exact line number may depend on version.

I am about to give up posting on this site . . .

Selecting an emoticon re-draws the page and clears the 'Quick reply' box.

Spending an evening re-typing even short replies isn't my idea of an entertaining evening.

Off to sulk and probably reboot this stupid computer . . .
