Some simple errors in the setupJust to let you know of some simple omissions in the setup. I installed the software by manually copying the files to my website and then using the list on this site to chmod the files. There were I think 4 files that required 777 permissions that were not on your list of settings. As I tried to install the software it kept telling me that it did not have permission for a certain file. So I would alter the permission of the identified file until I was successful. Being an idiot I did not note down the particular files sorry. Secondly, when I added some calendar events and selected "Public Holiday" and then added the event, the software could not find the public_holiday icon in the default folder. There was an icon there called "holiday" so i just renamed it "public_holiday" and it then showed up. I will try to remember to note other minor issues rather than just overcome them. Thanks again |

Don't feel bad. I did the manual install as well, and received permissions errors. I did the same thing by changing the offending file perms until I could access the site without error, but didn't make a note of the files. |

That looks like either you don't have the PHP FTP extension, or you chose to tell ocPortal to not do file management with FTP. Plus it not being a SuExec server (i.e. web server does not run with same user as file owner).
