Sorry about that, fixed.

Took the 5.0.2-5.0.2 route and it did the deed.

Mind you, there were a couple of hundred (conservative estimate) files it said needed to be uploaded via FTP from the manual installer.

All done.

Site ticking over nicely, and it is apparent that several of the promised fixes (e.g. that nasty 'fraction' error in FF) have worked their magic.

295 fixes? You guys must have been working flat out.

Doesnt work for me :0(

ocPortal upgrader

This is the ocPortal upgrade tool. This tool is a part of ocPortal, but it is intentionally kept lightweight to keep it working even if ocPortal is partly broken.
Critical error - bailing out

Unknown HTTP status received for 502 Bad Gateway.

Going to the file directly via the browser gives me a 502 Error page :0(

Hmm, seems we found a way to crash PHP completely. Working on it now.

Now fixed.

Thanks. I really love the Support here :0)

When I use step 3 I get the error:

You don't have permission to access /ocportal/upgrader.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I suspect you have some kind of Apache firewall blocking any URLs with URLs passed as a parameter into them, probably the mod_security module.
If you've tried using our recommended.htaccess file as your .htaccess file, try contacting your web host.
Let us know if it is still happening after that.

Thanks for the amazingly quick reply :P
Where can I find the recommended .htaccess file?

It's just part of the distribution, should be in the root directory already.

Oh okay thanks :)
