Good to hear. I'm trying to work up the courage to do the upgrade. Why am I so cautious when my site isn't live and I know the upgrade addresses a number of issues I reported? :: Must talk to shrink about that ::

Join the back of the queue …

 :o

P.S. My upgrade went OK, too, and one of the issues I raised has been fixed, so I guess the MANY  issues you raised are probably also 'sorted'.

Go for it …!!

I wouldn't say many but there were four or five plus a couple that temp had already reported.

While I am working up the nerve to upgrade, I am trying to figure out how to embed my audio into a catalog field so I am plenty busy.

I was probably thinking of temps (seemingly) never-ending list, but I also recalled you had a few.

I've responded to your thread about adding audio. Have a look.

@Chris

If the 'forum conversion' thingy which turned out to be a nasty bug in the original roll out of 7.1 is not being used, does one need to 'do' the upgrade all over again, or will taking the bug release on its own suffice?

I have started to refer to temp as Eagle Eyes because he doesn't miss a thing - much to the betterment of ocPortal.

Though this community is small, it has some of the most helpful and knowledgeable members I've seen in a community.

If you're using OCF it's a non-issue. The bug fix can be applied to either of the 7.1's (which are almost identical).

I think I scared of everyone else off that thread except Chris when I posted that one  :lol: . It seemed never-ending to me also while I was putting it together.

Thanks for the complement. My eagle eyes must not be working too well lately as this is the first time I've see that reference  O_o .

This is the first public reference but I have been thinking it since reading your list.

I couldn't agree with you more. Some of the sites I have designed with ocPortal could not have been how they are without the help of many staff and non-staff COMMUNITY members.
