Proceed on Step #6 produces the following:

Zone Editor

Avatar
I'm still struggling a bit with the zone editor. When first loaded, everything looks AOK. Clicking on "view" now produces "Loading" then blank. Clicking on Edit shows nothing in the column and an "add block" at the top. Am I correct in thinking that the edit button should show me the blocks that are already there?

Is this on Konqueror?

sorry for the double post above...this is on Firefox both Linux and Windows and IE windows....

All I can think is that you might be running the Zone Editor on the Admin Zone or CMS zone (which have blank panels). That doesn't seem likely though.

Perhaps you could post a screenshot?

Here ya go mate

Aaahhhh, not much breakin' anymore! *grin*

Great job guys, V3 is really shapin' up!

One area of breakage for me is the Gallery. Upon initial install, the Gallery link works AOK, however, upon uploading media and/or creating a category, things break down a wee bit. Almost everything in the adminzone now produces stack trace, and they are the same (and look familiar):

 PHP NOTICE [8] Undefined index: edit_date (ocPortal version: 3-Beta 4, PHP version: 4.3.10, URL: /site/index.php?page=galleries&type=misc)
Here is the stack trace:

Below is a stack trace revealing the state ocPortal was in when the error occured. If this represents a bug in ocPortal's unmodified software, you may want to check ocportal.com for a fix, and if there isn't one, report this as a bug. Please note that merely posting a stack trace is not sufficient for us to solve your problem; the stack trace is just an aid that presents us with additional information. We still need to know the error message, the human situation, version numbers, and any other appropriate information.
We apologise for this problem and hope you will work with us so that we can fix it promptly.

To fix, change lines 510-511 of site/pages/modules/galleries.php to:

Code

      $query_rows_videos=$GLOBALS['SITE_DB']->query_select('videos',array('*'),array('cat'=>$cat,'validated'=>1),'ORDER BY id');
      $query_rows_images=$GLOBALS['SITE_DB']->query_select('images',array('*'),array('cat'=>$cat,'validated'=>1),'ORDER BY id');

The old lines were similar, but instead of containing '*' they had a whole long list of field names.

I'm not sure why this occurs "almost everywhere" though. As far as I can see from received error mails, it's only when viewing an image/video in a gallery.

There are too many online users to list.
