I don't know if this is the right place for this or not....or even if any of this is an issue. It may be my settings and I am still exploring to see if I made any mistakes setting it all up. But I figure it worth a mention since it is related to activities which is a seriously cool new feature available for V8 many people will be interested in.
I have facebook, twitter and activities installed successfully (and easily). But I am not so sure about some of the behavior.
In facebook settings I entered the id for my page but it is syndicating to my personal account and nothing to my business page.
Posts that go out to both Twitter and facebook link to my home page instead of the content it is about.
Making a post in activities in my profile sends the post to facebook but not Twitter.

I could reproduce the first point (syndicating to personal account not page).

This takes a little explaining though. You are syndicating out to your personal profile as you have set your ocP profile to do this. That won't change unless you unset it, which btw gives a stack trace without this fix:
Now the Facebook bug I fixed was that the syndication option wasn't showing. It is meant to show up on news and calendar event submission (i.e. newsy things, syndicated at a site level). You'll now see an option on the submission forms for it.
However, I couldn't find evidence of the links being wrong. I even checked your own Facebook account, and saw a deep link into your site.
And I tested both site and profile-based Twitter syndication and it worked okay.
Some quick testing in "Notification lock-down":
- Security: Admin Zone front-page accessed
- anything other than "not locked down…" generates notices to all members.
- Staff: New entry in the Action Log
- set to "member's typical…" generates notices to all members

Right, you found a really nasty one here. Sorry about that.
It was a convergence of unfortunate things:
- These notifications are high-traffic
- You were able to lock them on for everyone
- Permissions were not correctly encoded on them
I have gone through and found 3 notification hooks had this problem. Fixes are attached…
I'm having the same Calendar issue as I did with RC1 and I'm using RC6 right now.
My question was then and is still today. Why does the Calendar block say 5:00 PM when the event is from 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM, which is displayed correctly in the Calendar view? Everything seems correct except that 5:00 PM in the side block.

More posting problems (I don't think this has been mentioned before).
- I pressed quote and got the quote text in the quick reply box.
- I then changed my mind and wanted to write an entirely fresh post, so I deleted all the quoted text and started writing a fresh post.
- When I pressed preview it showed only my text, but when I posted it it had the quoted text as well.
- I then went to edit my post expecting to see the quoted text back again so that I can just delete it (i.e. I thought the problem may have just been with the quick reply), but it only had my post text, and when I saved changes the quoted text showed up again.

But then again, I ain't the sleep deprived master coder who has forgotten what the outside world looks like and dreams of a day when there would be a power outage just so he could get a little break

My heavily modded theme has remained intact (dare I say it is my most pressing concern at the moment?), and now it is time to attack the differences between the upgrader's 'test run' and 'live results' to see if there are some hidden 'gotchas'.
After that it will boil down to prodding and poking areas that I use consistently. But that will be for some time later today (currently 03:45 my time). And only after the F1 has run its course in Bahrain!
I will probably be some way behind the the curve when compared to what other users discover, but I suppose that's the value of having several different peeps testing at the same time.

PHP 5.3.9 introduced a change which is breaking this form. The following needs adding to your .htaccess:

It will give internal server errors if you're running PHP as CGI, but if it works yes it is safe. It's not going to cause subtle problems.
