Best of luck. Remember, My goal with these awards is to make them fair. I'm not a fan of how Packt handled things with their awards and the intention here is to be 100% fair and actually give some other solutions a chance to get some notoriety and not just the big 3.

That doesn't mean the big 3 are excluded, however, but rather that I've broken the awards into two categories, Critic's Choice and People's Choice with the full intention of making things fair for all CMS. Good luck!

I used my handy Facebook login to vote!

I used my FB login, too, but I was disappointed that ocPortal was included in only ONE category, when it patently could have qualified for two or more.

Oh, well …!!

The way they want to register users to a apllication before you vote a poll is not acceptable for me.

i agree Harry!

Harry/Duck Glad that I'm not the only that though that.

To me it look that they have their own (bad) intensions? Or think I now to far…..

It's unfortunate that you feel we have "bad" intentions however, the reason for the use of an account is so that we can ensure there is no multiple voting from a single person. It was either that or a million spam prevention techniques that would frustrate people.

I did my best, sorry you feel it wasn't sufficient.

Mike thanks for your explanation in this. Its not only the account, but for a vote I don't like to give my personal information to a site who wants also control my twitter account. \So thats my reason to not use it or go in with this.

Yeah I would go to the trouble of signing up to the site with an account but I don't like being forced to use other account logins to vote.
