Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

Development update

Hi all,

Things have been quiet recently, so I wanted to make a very quick and very informal update. I don't really have time to proof-read it carefully, it's somewhere between "announcement" and "brain dump".

v10 development is going well, but it's also a slog at the moment, as some major rearchitecting work is happening. I'll step through some of that in this post. I still expect v10 to be out next…

I was happily contented before these updates. Now I'm like a little kid waiting for Santa Claus :christmas: , but not knowing when he'll show up.  :puppyeyes:

Certainly didn't expect there to be an AppEngine version in the works.

I would be really interested in and stats you have/may get, especially the Read/Write Op counts.

Thanks for the update, Chris.  It sounds like v10 is going to break a lot of new ground and I'm really excited to give it a go!

You do a great job and I know everyone appreciates all the hard work that you're putting into this  :thumbs:
