Dutch language pack

I have updated the Dutch language pack and exported it as a mod. See below for more information and instructions.

Dutch language pack update.

Extract the attached "Dutch language pack.zip" and import the extracted file in ocPortal.

This mod will add the Dutch language pack to your ocPortal installation. After importing this mod, you should replace all files within "…/lang/EN/" with the files within "…/lang/NL/". This because just simply setting your ocPortal installation language to Dutch might cause problems.

Hello,

i installed the dutch language pack : i loaded it up, and changed the name of the map from NL to EN. ( deleted the old EN map )
( upload in the …/lang/ map )
But now only part of my site seems translated … ?
i checked the .ini files in the EN map, and they are dutch.
So where is the forum getting the english language from ??
i don't get it.
Can someone plz help on this ? thx !

you can check it at www.zedenleer.be

I believe this pack is for 2.1… therefore it would not change the language of any forum, because ocPortal 2.1 did not contain it's own forum.

Otherwise, clearing the caches is an important task for getting things to update.

i'm sorry, i made a mistake in my explanation above, it is not in the forum that i have a problem, it is in the portal itself.
Half of the things are translated to dutch in the portal, and half are not ( still english ).

the links that are not translated give an error message when i click on it :
"Missing lang entry: locale"

 any idea what is wrong?

thx !!

Did you try running http://baseurl/force_upgrade.php?  This clears all caches and should have fixed this.

Hi,

Chris and James, thnx for answering for me, I did not have the chance to answer earlier.

About the .htaccess file, you can just leave the file. This file is used for granting and blocking access to users on a apache webserver. It would be best leaving this file intact, to make sure all users have rights to use the language files. Otherwise, you would get a very strange language on your site  :D
