Making ThemesIt's easier than it looks, basicly all you need is your forum's skin's stylesheet. Not sure about non-IPB forum stylesheets but with IPB, the names are clear enough to make sense of what should go where. Obvserv: DEFAULT SILVER/BLUE SKIN
DEFAULT SILVER/RED SKIN

Then, I went to Edit > Colors > Define Custom Colors Take the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) code and write it down… Go to this site: http://www.univox.com/home/support/rgb2hex.html Enter the RGB code and press "Submit" It will now give you a hex color code, something like #12345 or #ABCDE or a mix of both. Thats the color code you need to use. Ofcourse, it might take a few tries but its easy enough to do NOTE: If you wish to make a logo, MAKE SURE it's in JPG or JPEG format! .gif files don't seem to work as 'defaultlogo.???' you also have to name your logo 'defaultlogo.jpg' or .jpeg and place it in the theme folder. |
