I had installed ocPortal yesterday and duyring the installtion for the forum i had selected phpbb3. the log in works fine, but for a new user to register, that link isn't working I fix the path to phpbb it was my name.com/forum and when i went thru the installation i set it to forums but i went on my web space and rename the forum folder to forums.

How do i get the register link to point to the correct location and also when the profile link is click on it produce an error page, so how can i fix that loink so it would point to the profile in phpbb

any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Some bug fixes for this were put out on the forum recently (will be in the next patch release). Could you try the attached replacement file and let us know if any of the problems remain.

I put iin place but it throws up error pages. what i'm going to do is remove oc portal and database that is associated with it. and just reinstall. once i figure out what all files i can delete. to remove the portal, and just start fresh and this time I'll give the forum that comes with oc portal a shot.

To reinstall ocportal just put install.php back and run it again… it'll overwrite your ocp database and everything

thanxs, since i really didn't hardly have anything on my web server and databases, i had manually removed everything, and reinstalled OC Portal. since i had installed it last night, by the time i got around messing with it in acp I had messed things up, and didn't realized it until today and did everything to try and remember what i did last night.

So with a new fresh install I'm slowly getting everything setup, and if i need to figure out how to do something, i will be coming on the forum looking for what i need and if i don't find anything then i'll ask.

I do need to know is there a search function on the forum, so it would make it easier to try and find something within the forums here on ocportal.com?

At the top where your profile info is, there is a search bar in the middle. Click the 'advanced' for more options (like farther back than 60 days, boolean, etc.)
