Well-settled

Hi guys,

I have a question about this:

What I want is to get some pictures from a gallery into the frontpage, now there is de block_main_gallery_embed…  I have try this one, but the photos come on but vertical without space between.
How can I get this that the photos come left lined with some space between?

The code for that template is only: {IMAGES}

I want it like this:  hmmmm can't upload a attachement???

Hi,

After examining the block I have realised the template composition is not really right. It's not as I intended, although it works.
Attached is a new sources/blocks/main_gallery_embed.php:
Attachment
» Download: main_gallery_embed.php.zip (1.76 Kb, 135 downloads so far)

Once you have this up, you'll be able to make some changes to get what you want. In the global CSS file, search for '.gallery_media_expose' and add a new property to that section: float: left; (be careful because if you paste it at the end you'll need to add a semicolon to the end of the line above it). Once that is done you'll need to edit the template file you've already found and place the following at the end of it:

Code

<br class="float_passer" />
You'll also need to put it after {ENTRIES} in the GALLERY_PAGE template.

(I'm not sure why you can't attach - what happened when you tried?)

Hi Chris,

thanks for fast responding and solution.

What the attachment, There was nothing happened after the choose file and saving. I have tryed several times, but no success.. and there where no error messages.

Now this working, but for some reasons the pictures showing up in the wide screen to big, look for yourself what I mean :
  http://photocase.nl/site/index.php?page=galleries&type=image&root=root&wide=1&id=57&start=0&max=5 or click on the frontpage on one of the upper pictures or the Image of the day, gives the same results…

UPDATE;

This problem is only into Opera Browser. Into IE 7.0 the frame is correct but with scrollbars.

I didn't notice that the GALLERY_IMAGE_PAGE template also uses the CSS class we changed. At the top of that template change:

Code

{+START,BOX}
   <div class="gallery_media_expose">
      <img alt="{!IMAGE}" src="{URL*}" />
   </div>
{+END}
to:

Code

{+START,BOX}
   <div style="text-align: center">
      <img alt="{!IMAGE}" src="{URL*}" />
   </div>
{+END}
