Well-settled

Hi all.

Just using ocPortal for the first time and I was just wondering if anybody knew a simple way to prevent user's usernames from going onto two lines in a post on the forum (i.e. widening the first column).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave

Check out my ocportal site: PrecisionRacingLeague.com which will always be on ocPortal - because it's awesome!

Admin Zone Style Manage themes Choose Edit CSS: ocf.css

find …

.ocf_topic_poster_name

… and adjust the padding that uses 20px left and right by default.

If that doesn't fix it for you, ask in here again and I'll look a bit more closely at wide_table ocf_topic where the <colgroup> is split into 2 widths - 120px and 100% (actually, you could look at it yourself!).

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

I tried this, set it down to 7px … no difference on one member who's name is only split with one character on a separate line.
