Theme layout

I was asking myself this questing if I look to the overal gallery layout if you use a wide gallery home with all sub gallerys in one column. Now you use ony two/third of the overal space of the page.

Would it possible to set this layout to two columns. See my pictures what I mean.

Sure. It should just be a case of floating those sub-boxes, making them 50%, and probably setting "{$BETA_CSS_PROPERTY,box-layout: border-box}" (so that the 50% isn't exceeded by internal padding).
All the boxes in ocPortal should have their own CSS class on them, so it's fairly easily to target specific rules.

Code

.box___gallery_flow_mode_screen__subcats .category_list {
   padding: 0;
}

.box___gallery_flow_mode_screen__subcats .category_list>li {
   float: left;
   width: 50%;
   {$BETA_CSS_PROPERTY,box-sizing: border-box;}
   min-height: 10em;
   overflow: visible;
   clear: none;
   list-style-type: none;
   padding-left: 0.5em;
   padding-right: 0.5em;
   margin: 0;
}

.box___gallery_flow_mode_screen__subcats .category_list>li:nth-child(1), .box___gallery_flow_mode_screen__subcats .category_list>li:nth-child(2) {
   border-top: 0 !important;
}

.box___gallery_flow_mode_screen__subcats .category_list>li:nth-child(odd) {

Whoops, change box___gallery_flow_mode_screen__subcats  to box___gallery_regular_mode_screen for your case.
