Well-settled

Hello,

I am updating my theme a little since it probably could use a little updating. I figure I may as well make it look better with a default setup rather than adding some custom comcode pages. And it is starting to look ok.  I've fixed some styles on the menus and made the help slide out from the side. However, I can't figure out why I get these errors on various pages. Including Members page, Search page, clicking tags in the tag cloud, and probably some others. I have only tested in Firefox.

Either remove:

Code

#screen_actions .print {
   background-image: url('{$IMG,recommend/print}');
}

#screen_actions .recommend {
   background-image: url('{$IMG,recommend/recommend}');
}

#screen_actions .favorites {
   background-image: url('{$IMG,recommend/favorites}');
}

#screen_actions .facebook {
   background-image: url('{$IMG,recommend/facebook}');
}

#screen_actions .twitter {
   background-image: url('{$IMG,recommend/twitter}');
}

#screen_actions .stumbleupon {
   background-image: url('{$IMG,recommend/stumbleupon}');
}

#screen_actions .digg {
   background-image: url('{$IMG,recommend/digg}');
}

or surround it with

Code

{+START,IF,{$ADDON_INSTALLED,recommend}}
...
{+END}
like the default theme now does

or reinstall the 'recommend' addon

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
