Update to 9 broke theme creater in 9??

I just updated one of my sites to 9 and am having a few glitches.

First off, as I realize the old themes no longer work, I deleted the old one and tried to remake it...Set my seed color, set the algorithm to 'equations' and applied it as the theme to all pages, only to get the following stack trace critical error:

Code

Critical error – bailing out

This is an error that has been elevated to critical error status because it occurred during the primary error mechanism reporting system itself (possibly due to it occuring within the standard output framework). It may be masking a secondary error that occurred before this, but was never output - if so, it is likely strongly related to this one, thus fixing this will fix the other.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix it??

Hi,

There's a fix for this one in the bugs catalogue, but you can workaround by not choosing the inherit option in the wizard.

Become a fan of ocPortal on Facebook or add me as a friend. Add me on on Twitter.
Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

I'll try to figure that out in a second.

Another issue I have, on my home page I get the following errors:

Code

An image code (menu_items/forum_navigation/members) was referenced that does not exist

An image code (menu_items/forum_navigation/members) was referenced that does not exist

A parameter, CONTENT, is referenced in the template, BLOCK_SIDE_PERSONAL_STATS, but not passed

A parameter, _loop_var, is referenced in the template, BLOCK_MAIN_IMAGE_FADER, but not passed

1/2 - edit theme images have moved, edit community menu to select new one for members link or none at all
3 - old Facebook addon probably needs updating
4 - bug, fix also in bugs catalogue

A parameter, _loop_var, is referenced in the template, BLOCK_MAIN_IMAGE_FADER, but not passed
