Hi Bob, this has only effect to the news/blog system. What I mean is the main forum news block not the normal news if I'am right…

But thanks

Hmmm…Chris and I are both pointing you to the same place.

I'm not sure I understand which block you are using to display this. Are you using the main_forum_news block? I used that (as I recall) but it did not post the author/member information.

NEWS_PIECE_SUMMARY was my first thought also.

In any case, the correct one should be easy enough to find using the "Template names as HTML comments (messy)" admin tool from the drop down list at the bottom left of the page.

To use:
. load your page
. select "Template names as HTML comments (messy)"
. in popup windows - view source
. search for some of text of your article
. look for "<!– START-TEMPLATE=" about 1/2 or 1/4 page up.

Visit Last Gamer because its made with ocPortal.

Stay for the content - Video game retrospectives, reviews, galleries and discussions.

Yes that Block is what I use for the news section on the frontpage. I have try something out in this
NEWS_PIECE_SUMMARY tpl, but don't get this piece out of it.

Should be as easily as editing that template to carve part out of it. I think the block cache is auto-cleared but maybe try clearing manually.
