I've been using the same header image site wide, but now I would like to have a separate image for my forum. I've been digging around the tutorials and the templates but I can't see anything that would allow the separate image. I can see different images for cms, welcome, and admin zones but not for the forum.

Can this be done, and where would I look?

Admin >> Structure >> Edit zone >> forum

Now expand the images in "Logo for <theme> theme". If the one you want to use isn't there, upload the new one.

Done!

Hi Fletch,

Thanks for the response.

I've drilled down to the location according to your instructions and uploaded the new image, but this is not working for me. I'm not using the stock size (324x89) image but a full banner (976x203) across the top.

Does the image displayed on the forum use a different name instead of using the default site-wide logo_top.png? Or maybe I done something wrong at the beginning when I originally changed the banner?

There has to be something I'm missing.

Looking in admin >> style >> manage themes >> manage theme images, both logo_top and logo/-logo show the correct images but I just can't get logo/-logo to show on the forum pages.

Is there another setting somewhere that I may have missed? I've cleared caches on both my browser and on ocP.

Hi sholzy,

I just installed ocp7.1.1

and was able to change the header logo for just forum as  follows:

from the menu across the top click  structure > Zones

Zones page loads click on Edit Zone

Edit Zone page loads showing a table click EDIT on the row that shows forum (second from bottom in default install)

New page loads  scroll toward middle of page LOGO FOR "DEFAULT THEME" theme   the name in quotes changes based on the them applied to the zone  click on the icon to the right of the title to expand the section

First select you may see some logos listed and one of them maybe selected.  If so, you will see a / below the last logo listed.  select the / first, it will highlight

Then click on the Upload button
Browse to your artwork
scroll down and click on the SAVE button.

browse to your forum page - see new logo that is unlike the rest of the site

Thanks for the reply.

That was the first thing I did, but it does not show up. I'm not using the default logo setup. Here is a link to my site. The new image is a slight change for the forum.

I finally solved this problem!

When I first set things up, during some testing I had commented out a line in header.tpl and put my own in. I reversed this and everything worked as it should.

Thanks everyone for your help.
