Post upgrade background issue

ive been a bit lazy, as upgraded to 7.1.5 just now, from 6.1.5
Most of the post upgrade theme issues were simple to solve, except for one, the website background.
It used to be untiled, fixed piece, with the website scrolling on top of  it.

now it is a scrolling repeating piece.

And i cant fix it back… adding a no-repeat and fixed attachment lines to #main_website, does nothing at all. Firebug shows the background still being on repeat and scroll…

I have a fixed background for one of my 'test' themes that is using 7.1.5, and I have this in global.css:

I assume you have something similar?

Yep, after i added those two last lines. Oddly, Firebug was showing them as being there... Now it shows them as if i made no changes whatsoever...

So, is it rendering correctly now?

Nope. And Firebug shows no change (scroll and repeat) in the css, as if i made no changes..

It would be interesting to see first-hand WHY it isn't behaving as it should.

Note that the relevant CSS section looks like this right now

Oddest thing ever… it works now
Could it be because i was using Firefox when doing all the repairs, and switched to Chrome last night? 

Glad it's working for you. I checked in Chrome, FF, Opera and IE, and it works fine in all of them, so it looks like the 'crisis' is over!

Yeah, id wish i knew why it didnt work at first, though…

Oh well, now unto figuring of how to make the text editor background, grey too.

I think you need to edit the CKEditor CSS properties which you should find at \data\ckeditor\skins\kama\editor.css:

.cke_skin_kama .cke_contents iframe {
    background-color: #ffffff;
}

Is this what you wanted?
