I just uploaded the Leadership theme to try it out. I was hoping i could limit its permissions so only i could see it. If you take a look at my site, some of the features of the new feed have impacted on my main one, making my site pretty unusable.

Please can someone tell me how to undo this crisis? :-)

Themes often contain panels/start pages as part of the theme, but your previous panels/start pages are stored in revision history -- just edit the pages then revert via the revision history feature.

I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

I've had a go at doing that. For example; i tried reverting the header but the last save was over a month ago and is nothing like the most up to date version.

Is there any way at finding exactly which templates have been edited by the theme?

Ah sorry I misread. What you need to do is to go edit the old theme you had and there is an option on there to make it the default again. You can test the new theme using the preview link from the manage themes section after doing that.

Did it auto-default itself without asking? I'll check that.

Hi Chris,

It didnt default itself, and as soon as i realised the effect it had on the main theme i deleted it immedatly hoping it would solve the problem.

I've gone to my main theme and selected the check box "use theme on all zones" which i think is what you mean by the 'default button'…it hasnt solved the problem. I still have the same issues.

I've been looking through the templates and cant find which templates have been edited, so not quite sure what to do.

The two side bars had the right revision point so i've managed to fix them by reverting them.

The main issue is with what appears to be the header. However, when i go to the template edit links and edit the header there isnt a relevant revision point, so im guessing its not the header causing the problems?

Is there any way of seeing templates in order of revision date so i can see which ones have been edited?

Edit: I've got it fixed. Turned out the new template created a new comcode area, which was why i couldnt find the template :)

Hi Ollie-

I always recommend making any changes first to a test site. temp1024 has written this excellent article to explain how to clone your site: View topic: How to clone your ocPortal site - ocPortal.com. After it is cloned, I make a copy of the clone site (files and database) knowing that I can instantly return to that point should my changes have unpleasant repercussions.

Ah, that should go into the community docs :). Even if it's just a link to the topic.

I hope this is what you meant, Chris.

Advice and guidance - ocPortal.com

First time using CEDI. I need to investigate that further.
