My STANDARDBOX_classic Styling interferes with other block within site...

This may have been covered in another post, but I could not locate it tonight.

I have a custom side block background that is showing up in other areas of the site, ie login page, downloads page header, etc. .. anywhere I add the standard box via the WYSIWYG editor.

How do I separate the styles? I have used FireFox Web Developer tools to locate styles, but not sure which Template or Templates and Global styles to edit to rectify this.

SEE ATTACHED

any help out there?

Thanks
David

Code

.standardbox_title_panel {
/* Structure */
background: transparent url('{$IMG,box-title-bg}') no-repeat top center;
height:18px;

/* Text */
padding-top: 0.6em;
padding-bottom: 0.6em;
padding-{!en_left}: 5px;
color: #fff;
font-size:150%;
font-weight: bold;
text-align:center;
}

.standardbox_main_classic {

background: transparent url('{$IMG,box-bg}') bottom no-repeat;
padding-top: 3px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-bottom: 35px;

Gees, these forums are amazing! One just submits a "How To" question and the answer just comes, shortly after!

This works…. now to hunt down ALL of the div Id's.

Code

#News .standardbox_main_classic {

background: transparent url('{$IMG,box-bg}') bottom no-repeat;
padding-top: 3px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-bottom: 35px;
}
#Video_Samples .standardbox_main_classic {

background: transparent url('{$IMG,box-bg}') bottom no-repeat;
padding-top: 3px;
padding-right: 3px;
padding-left: 3px;
padding-bottom: 35px;
}
#MyLiberty .standardbox_main_classic {

background: transparent url('{$IMG,box-bg}') bottom no-repeat;
padding-top: 3px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-bottom: 35px;
}

If there is a better method, please share. I want to learn to do it correctly , since I am promoting ocPortal.

Non-joined user

It's actually JavaScript and not Flash controlling the Banner rotation.

jQuery Rotating Banner mclelun

Just unzip in your ocPortal root directory and use example code to paste as HTML within ocPortal welcome zone.

banner code }

Sorry, my website is down .. corrupted somehow. Going through logs now to see what caused it.

or else I would send u some code snippets. Basically, all the files are uploaded to server. I edit code in notepad to make sure links to scripts and images are good. Then, I paste the actual banner code in the welcome page with

Code

[html] banner code [/html]
tags surrounding it with wysiwyg off.

the module solution developer could surely help u with install.
