Hi all ya'll,

I apologize for not being around much lately. It seems as though the only times I show up are when I need help. :$

I think I asked this question a long time ago, but can't for the life of me remember the solution. I want to increase the size of the column that contains member avatars so members can use larger avatars than are allowed by the default installation. Can anyone point me to the file that needs to be changed?

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

I think this is in the OCF_TOPIC_WRAP.tpl, but I don't have one in the new theme I am trying to develop.

Doc,

You got it in one.

Line 22 spells out '<col width="130" />' and can be adjusted to whatever width you choose …

HOWEVER

… don't forget that the avatar also appears in the member's info bar and 'column_a' will also require adjustment if you intend to use oversize avatars. Like so …
edit ocf.css

specifically .ocf_member_column_a, but you may well need to edit the other column widths if you want them all to appear on the same line!

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Thanks, Fletch.

Do I just create a new file for the new theme I am designing?

So far, my problem is that in the new theme, there is no OCF_TOPIC_WRAP.tpl. I tried creating one, but then the forum width was reduced. I think that has something to do with the topics/page, but can't remember how to resolve the problem.

Hey Fletch, I just figured it out. If you add a <p></p> after

Code

{+START,IF_NON_EMPTY,{POSTS}}
it resolves the conflict with the RESULTS_BROWSER. If there is more than a single page there, it forces the textarea over to the left and makes it quite small.

Hopefully, this will help anyone else trying to resolve a similar problem.

Glad you figured it out.

I was doing a bit of head-scratching reading your first response!

I'm always scratching my head, Fletch. If I ever got this down to a science, I would not know what to do with all my spare time.
