Just getting started with OCPortal, and I want to reduce the height of the header on my site, and have been having trouble tracking down how to do that… I tried specifying a height parameter in .global_top in global.css, which reduced the height of the banner image visible, but it left all the menus etc behind… not sure whether I need to change something in HEADER.tpl or what… any help would be appreciated. :)

Cheers,
Ken

Go to STYLE/MANAGE THEMES/EDIT THEME/

be sure to edit your new theme not the DFAULT THEME

Look in GLOBAL.css and find the line under ".global_zones" and adjust the MARGIN-TOP px to what ever you want.

Code

.global_zones {...
margin-top: xxpx;...}
You'll also have to clear the cache or refresh the page.

Thanks, that did the trick! So basically, the header is the height of the logo, plus that margin and the height of the menu.

Cheers,
Ken
