Daeda -W.I.P.

Discussing this in the other topic is not ideal so I figured maybe it was better to begin a topic for it all of its own, just merge it if you don't agree Chris. I would rather like to hold an ongoing topic to show progress of this theme, it's lonely work designing skins and sharing progress can make it seem a little less lonely. :)

Although I wasn't going to bother with skinning OCPortal v8 in the RC stages I found myself unable to resist once the exterior frame was ready. Of course the forum category frame was ready so I put them together on top of a theme set up using the theme wizard, annoyingly the 'HSV-shift' method is still not working so a lot of extra work is going to be required if I want to take this theme further prior to the full release of v8. I can carry on and make the custom graphics I would need to make anyway so all is not lost.

Well, this is what the forum view looks like, please keep in mind that it hasn't been fine tuned so it is a little rough in places and the forum view is going to be the most elaborate area, the minor details will be polished prior to a release.

Is it for your theme on your Anglo-Indian site?
If so the colours do not match, but I will make a set of these buttons to better suit your theme colour if you like!

I'm floored. I only wish I cold use that theme for my site, but alas, doesn't fit my site's setting. But still, man that is a work of art. You are proving that ocPortal can look as good or better than anything else out there.

That skin (Dragor) is actually not my graphics, they are the graphics by the amazing T.King. They were prior to his being employed by his current employer. He used to allow people to use his graphics for all sorts of stuff, gave him a  buzz to see what we did with them. Now he's all put on by the man and can't let people use his newer stuff, shame how businesses stifle art so often.

That is nice indeed, and yes, I do like that.
