Just curious, I was messing with the breadcrumbs overrides, as when I go to my FAQ I see these breadcrumbs…

but I don't want that 'catalogues' link in there.   So I tried all sorts of catalogues:misc, catalogues:type, catalogues:category all to just {!HOME}, but can't seem to get rid of it.

Any idea what the match-key is for such a thing?

Honestly, i could just edit the code to get rid of them, but if the overrides works there must be a way to get rid of it.

As I only use the catalogues for 'faq', a user shouldn't ever be able to go back to the main catalogues page.

If you open up the category with a virtual root, it should wipe out the catalogues stuff from the breadcrumbs. Clicking the final breadcrumb location when viewing that category should do it - you can then use that URL in your menu.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Ah, I see what you are saying, this puts you right into the FAQ.

Thanks.
