I started a new theme do to no one getting back to my on my other issue. Any way I thought this one would be easier for me to do but its not working.

I made that image for the top of the side panels so I then edited the css so it showed like this.

Code

.standardbox_title_panel {

   background-image: url("{$IMG,standardboxes/panel_top}");
   border-bottom: 1px solid #63b1ff; /* {$,wizard, 61% seed + 39% W/B} */
   background-repeat: no-repeat;
   white-space: nowrap;

   /* Text */
   line-height: 2.2em;
   padding-left: 5px;
   color: #001a33; /* {$,wizard, 20% seed + 80% !W/B} */
   font-weight: bold;
}

How ever its not showing up.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

OK this is very strange I put this code in and I get an image that shows up.

Code

.standardbox_title_panel {

   background: url("{$IMG,standardboxes/title_left}") 0 0 no-repeat;
   border-bottom: 1px solid #63b1ff; /* {$,wizard, 61% seed + 39% W/B} */
   white-space: nowrap;

   /* Text */
   line-height: 2.2em;
   padding-left: 5px;
   color: #001a33; /* {$,wizard, 20% seed + 80% !W/B} */
   font-weight: bold;
}
When I change the paneltop.png to title_left.png it vanished again.
 :o
Its in the same folder as the old title_left.png

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

What folder path exactly, and what is the name of the theme?

It looks to me like you're doing it right.
One helpful thing to do is to check the CSS file your web browser gets. Firebug is good for that, but you can also open up the CSS URL directly in a new tab.
If there is a blank image URL in that spot it shows it's not getting looked up. I don't think it'll be blank, but it's worth checking. If it's not blank try copy and pasting the URL that's shown into a new tab, and see if that loads.

Code

.standardbox_title_panel {global.css (line 673)
background:#E3F1FF url(../../../../themes/blueshapes/images/standardboxes/paneltop.png) no-repeat scroll 0 0;
border-bottom:1px solid #63B1FF;
color:#001A33;
font-weight:bold;
line-height:2.2em;

I'm looking at the fact that the text "global.css (line 673)" is actually written into that source code there. If that's in the CSS source it could be the cause.

No, it won't be a bug. Either you accidentally pasted a bit of code into your global.css file, or that bit of text isn't actually in the CSS and it just came through from Firebug itself.

I'm not sure if I'm being clear. Take a look at the CSS you posted. Do you see that bit of code that looks like it shouldn't be there? If that really is in the CSS that the web browser sees, it could cause the problem because it would interfere with that first background property.

Ok so the code must have come from Firebug.
Here's your problem:

http://oc4themes.com/themes/blueshapes/images/standardboxes/paneltop.png

click it and you'll see there's some kind of permission error happening from the web server itself.
