How can the

Last edit:

be removed when an edit has been done to a forum post, but I like to get the history?

Thanks

Indeed, that appears to be the case. Not sure if it's considered a biggy by ocProducts, but in the meantime, a workaround would be to comment out "last_edited" from OCF_TOPIC_POST.tpl (around line 64):

Code

<!-- {LAST_EDITED}-->

"no violence, no hate, no pain, no enemies
just peace, unity, tolerance and love" - The Beloved

Again thank you..

I am trying to use the SU and the if_in_group tag from the video tutorial to leave in the

<!– {LAST_EDITED}–>

for all users except the user(s) I choose, I understand how to choose a whole group but how can I exclude a user(s) from the

<!– {LAST_EDITED}–>   ???

Thanks

Code

{+START,IF,{$OR,{$IS_IN_GROUP,3,4,5},{$EQ,{$USERNAME},a,b,c}}}
{LAST_EDITED}
{+END}

I think that'd work to show it if you are in groups 3 4 or 5 or are a b or c.

I need to view the SU and the if_in_group tag video tutorial again. The above code is not want I want I think, I want to exclude some users like myself.
I like to know how I can identify myself or anyone else without excluding the whole group of people that maybe in the same group.

The code does nothing on my site when added to the OCF_TOPIC_POST.tpl

as I understand it I may be wrong if it had worked for me it would have stated what group the person that edited the post and added a,b,c

What is a,b,c?
Is it like the group and them the location that person is in that group?

Hope I made sense.  O_o

I think "a", "b", and "c" represent users.

If you want to make it not show to users…
change $EQ to $NEQ in my example.

What I wrote is Tempcode, for a template. I believe the video tutorial is about Comcode in a Comcode page.

Just changed the template on your site to show it working in a live setting. I've made it show to everyone but you.

I like to see the edit's., I don't want anyone else to see them. I can still see them when I am logged off..so I assume your changes work.

Thanks for your personal help.

Just change the NEQ to EQ in what I set.

Funny and weird thing just happened.

I am using two themes one is "proteamclan", this I use everywhere except in root (welcome page) and the others anything with root .index.phpSOMELINKHERE like Proteamclan's website - Professional Reconnaissance Organization
& Recommend to a friend - Professional Reconnaissance Organization As you can see the two theme option is all so bad if I just want the rotating background only at root (welcome) from this other post View topic: website root welcome start page??? - ocPortal.com anyway what is weird is I added the above code on a hunch to the other theme "Join Proteamclan now" and it works now, how about that?
