Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

I deliberately chose a 'non-theme' theme - if you know what I mean.

The large image I carved up into 3 can easily be replaced by something that is relevant to the user's site requirements, and that should give them a huge 'store-front' to advertise themselves without actually affecting the rest of ocPortal's core features.

I wonder if prospective users will give feedback …

Quick question though when I try to upload it in add ons  displays file list  with warning about over-writting a copy files in default directory….

Will this over-write my other custom theme .htaccess and index.html. ???

Not necessarily the 'same' larry!

themes/default/images_custom/.htaccess and themes/default/images_custom/index.html are identical, so ignore those.

On the other hand, you'll notice the images are being deposited in your themes/default/images_custom directory, which is usually an indication that, although bearing a similar filename, they are probably 'overrides' (image has the same function, but displays something different to the default image).

I am hoping that that is the only 'snag' you've encountered so far …!!
