@Staff

I've made this request before, AND I have the download of the PDS image files safely stored on my 'puter.

However, those files are of 2010 vintage and do not include later additions to the overall software - (e.g. all the 'cart' buttons).

Is there a repository for up-to-date PDS image files for the latest version, and where can I find them? I've trawled the GIT, but I think I was wasting my time there!

TIA

This is what I have. Please let me know if anything is missing, in early years we were not great at graphic asset control.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

thanks

Quick glance - it looks complete.

Always liked the 'detail' allotted to the button graphics, and wish to continue to use them.

Currently building a set with a 'green 2.0' display. If it turns out successful, will forward it to you for use by others.

Looking closely at how the various groups of buttons have been assembled it should be relatively easy to build various coloured 'blanks' to insert into each of the groups of files, allowing the prospective users to choose the 'background' colour of their choice.

Will let you know.
