  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Please read our tutorial on internationalisation. As explained in this, we do not get personally involved with translations, but we do provide assistance upon request.

LOL, ok, ive created my ocP at ocportal.com's servers so ill be working on that from now on ;) Get ready for some awesomness LMAO

IMPORTANT EDIT: So, i was editing the language files on Firefox and some input fields where wider than normal, so i decided to open up Internet Explorer and edit there. And now ive noticed that some strings (in spanish) are….wrong and some homepage title "images" are ocP blue when theyre supposed to be blue. I might find some of this in other sections, dunno, but imma be working on language from now on ignoring easthetics

Ok, heres the detailed explanation:

I accesed the Language Editor in my ocP ACP and i found this "glitch". Some input fields where under an image and others where overlaying the right background (see pic ocp-firefox)

Then i decided to try and edit it on Internet Explorer, so i accessed my ocp on internet explorer and i found this: (see pic ocp-ie)

You can see that those blue images are supposed to be pink according to my site style. I hit reload page (F5) a couple of times but colors wouldnt change

Same deal back in the ACP while using Internet Explorer. Also i noticed that some language strings are incorrect. Maybe its cuz of google's crappy translation. (see pic ocp-ie-admin)

So, tried to ingore this issue and went to the language editor section and found another "glitch" similar to the one found while using firefox, but different (see pic ocp-ie-lang-ed)

ocP-IE-Lang-Ed pic

SO thats what ive found while trying to work on Spanish language pack, i hope this helps to figure out wahts going on

Which version of ocPortal are you running? This might be caused by a bug fixed in the re-re-release of version 3.0.10.

Try holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift when refreshing.

This might be related to the first issue. We're looking into it. :)

Another addition to the catalogues, darn that list is growing... How would be there in total now? A couple of thousand i think... Atleast if all reports have been put in there..
