got stuck in time period

Hello,
I got stuck in one time period when I opened Site statistics>Overview first time. Can not change it ever since.
Cleared saved graphs - it did not help.
Page view statistics are available only from April 1… should it be for one month only?
Users on line shows data for April 1 and 2, no graph.
Submissions - from Monday till today, but no graph.
Page load times, Top referrers, Top search keywords - only from April 1, with graph.
Downloads, Demographics, Search statistics  - for any period of time.
Thank you,
LB

Hi,

I'm not sure why graphs aren't showing. Our records show you're using Firefox which has SVG (used by the graphs) built in, so it shouldn't be a problem. Could you show a screenshot of what you see on, for example the users online screen?

In terms of data not showing, it filters out hits from computers on the IP address you use to view from, to try and make the data less biased. Could it be the only hits in March were from your IP?

As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Hi,

I can confirm the 'missing graphs' problem. These files will fix that.

Attachment
sources/svg.php
» Download: svg.php (19 Kb, 189 downloads so far)

The overview problem is by design – the overview is like a freeze-frame look at site activity.

Thanks for reporting the problem and making the effort of attaching all the screenshots :).

Hi,

This isn't clear - but the date given is the start of a date range, going on for a month. So it's 22 March - 22nd April.

We'll fix that.
