Unable to view RSS entries for Calendar and Catalogues

Hello everybody,

Wondering if anyone could help me here. I am trying to set up the feeds for my site. There are 4 I wish to have going via Feedburner:

Events lists (calendar)
Resources (custom catalogue)

I'm using the URLs from /backend.php and all validate via Feeburner but the only one that shows content is the News.

I've added public events to the calendar and entries to the catalogue I am using but am seeing no entries in the RSS feeds for these elements.

Is there something further you have to do to make content show for RSS feeds that are not part of the news/blog system? I'm a bit of a novice with RSS generally but from looking at the various support snippets it seems that the calendar RSS at least should work straight out of the box?

Any help or insight appreciated.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
