I guess the problem with meeting only in this medium is that one doesn't quite realise that the other guy is a fashionista, or even a sartorial guru.

Kind of a long story, Fletch. I'm a big avid sims fan since it first came out (with the original Sims version). There are lots of fansites out there for sims clothing and such, but tailored to the female sims… with little for the male.

I was looking for stuff for my male sims in my game to look just as good as the females. so I decided to create a site and dedicate it for all male sims. I did create stuff in the past, but when my computer crashed I lost all my custom content I designed, so started added designs by other designers.

Back then (this was in around 2005-2006) I was on PHP-Nuke. Site got hacked few times over. I then went to PHP-Fusion. Hackers found loop holes in that too eventually. I gave up for a long time and then found ocPortal. It never got hacked (many attempts were made), but it did get spammed repeatedly and I gave up.

With Sims 3 out, I decided to go back to creating the site one more time. I'll just use the "investigate user" to get any info I can on the spammers and report them. Won't let them win. I'm currently creating a sub-domain to the site which will be dedicated to The Sims 3 game. Same idea and concept, different theme to separate them apart.

In real-life I am not much of a fashionist. Don't have the time, patience, or money to be one.
