Like a work of art, its never 'finished'. But really, I have had a bit of trouble figuring out how to add my image artwork into the margins (I think its the outer_background area....?)
...and its taken a really long time to get my head wrapped around the usage of this type of system. My last iteration of my website was done on the open source 'openoffice', which is really basic, and I never really was good at using css correctly, but I'm learning.
After studying up about different types of website creation software, comparing non cms to cms, etc., and then comparing the others to ocportal using online comparison websites, etc., I concluded that, at least for my purposes, that ocportal is perfect. Most everything I've tried to set up so far has worked flawlessly, once I've figured out how to do it. For instance, I just added the galleries add-on last night, and it flowed into my website without a hitch. Haven't finished setting it up, yet, but I put one foot in front of the other.
My biggest complaint is the difficulty of finding info/instructions using the system of tutorials, which don't reference where to get the technical specifics. A link in the tutorial to the relevant tech breakdown would save a heck of a lot of time, but I really appreciate the years of development and experience and everything else that's gone into creating this incredible system. Thanks to all the great engineers and software people. My hats off to you.
