I just opened my personal website which is mainly a gallery to display my artwork - all paintings at present. I have learned so much about ocPortal and am glad to add this to the many ocPortal powered websites on the web.

Stop in and have a look around and let me know what you think, good and bad. Thanks again for all the hard work and dedication of the ocPortal staff and the faithful and helpful members of the community here, without which this would not have been possible.

Works well friendly, and I really like your traditional art  .

The only thing I can suggest is to make the text that appears on the blue background (i.e. box_top_title_6.png) of buttons and headings lighter. To me the black colour of the text doesn't stand out enough and makes it a little hard to read at times.

Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S / Galaxy S II ? If so, why not check out my ScreenFree FM Radio .

Kudos!

The membership will probably exceed even that of 'Prehistorics'!

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

You've made a great place for people to meet you there, Dave!

Your art is inundated with colors, between rich reds and deep blues. Love everything in the traditional collection, but some of your abstracts like the "Twilight Reflection" are mesmerizing works of art.

Well Done!

Thanks Harry-S, I'm interested in your 'different' word …style? art? subject?

…and a big fuzzy dude on those cold Pleistocene nites too. I should do more prehistoric art but I am just scattered in too many directions right now. I have been thinking about doing some cave art though.

I'd love to see what you would come up if you tried your hand at something like an Allosaurus, my fav' Dino. :)

Thanks Harry-S, I'm interested in your 'different' word …style? art? subject?

Well to me is the way you use the art in combination with the colors. I like that you use the very strong Red as basic color and this is coming back in all your art work.

keep up the nice work

Thanks Harry, Was curious …it seems to be a common factor in my art over the last 2 years …I call it my red vs who's next (color) project. I am fascinated by how color combinations make us feel and perceive things differently. I sorta seeing how far I can go with this theme and what effect the simplicity or the complexity of composition affect viewer reaction using primary colors. Still get that 'my 5 year old can do better than that' looks occasionally ;)
