Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

I've been designing a site for a client for awhile now. There's a few design tweaks that need polishing… but the owner has opened the site to the public and has started advertising to the appropriate audience.

Some on here (especially Jean and friendly) wanted me to keep them updated on the site, so I'll just do that here.

So, for everyone, I introduce you to:

IceMule Trace is a fansite of GemStone IV (EUR-)" IceMule Trace

If you like to role-play in the medieval times, this site is for you. The site is based on an actual game called GemStone IV. This particular site is formed around a specific part in GemStone IV… a town to be precise. All are welcome to join the site as long as you create a fantasy genre type username. Most areas are guest enabled, so you don't really need to register if you don't want to.

Special Credits:

Coding - Thanks to the many (especially Chris, Jean and alex) for helping me out with many issues with the template files.

Design - Special kudos to Jean who created the Flash animation with sound.

Thanks for the update Eric!

Your long hard work pays off with this beautiful site.

Nice one Eric (and Jean and Alex).

Food for thought for further tweaks to my own site …  :ninja:

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

The owner of the site likes it so much he asked me to do a subdomain about his character in the game. Think I'll use ocPortal again for it.
