I had the opportunity over the last year and bit to begin to explore some of the reasons why our society is in such disarray and seeming chaos today. Over and over again the majority of issues appeared to have money at the root of the problem(s). I've never been a money watcher, didn't have much respect for it or the banking and financial services industries and basically couldn't have cared less….that all changed with my research. We have basically one option remaining for our survival and that is to reform our monetary system(s) which in turn will fundamentally change society and how we deal with and control our money supply. Within a few short years, the vast majority of the problems plaguing humanity will disappear. Advocating monetary reform - FreeOurMoney Enough preaching SD! Thanks to temp1024, Fletch and Jean for their critiques and suggestions and of course big thanks to Chris & Co. for developing such a great package in the form of ocPortal!!

More to the point, I've been taken with your 'Gallery' setup, and I've been sirened into clicking the links to the vids, many of which I've watched, and many of which I would never have stumbled across in a lifetime. So here is an offering, rather timidly I might add, which you may find useful: This was tested with my own custom-comcode which I reproduce below although I believe you've already built your own. The relevant bits are the 2 colors that are called in the YouTube URL which gives the shaded frame, which in turn means ALL your vids will be framed the SAME way on YOUR site. The comcode tag I use is the one Allen put up in his tute. Works for me: Code
<p align="center"><object width="560" height="349"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{content}&hl=en_GB&rel=0&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x227422&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{content}&hl=en_GB&rel=0&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x227422&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="349"></embed></object></p>
Something missing as the vid isn't displaying with its frame. Here is a better display; one for SD, one for temp1024 (who has responded in a later post categorically saying that he isn't looking for any dumb@ss code as he has already cracked it to his satisfaction!). My bad!

Didn't help, but I'll try to edit the vid using the tags 'youtube' tags which are obviously in place … |

This code as two significant differences. 1st - It displays a still image of the clip. This is for the benefit of people, like myself, that have flash blockers running, so that they can see an image instead on an empty flash frame. 2nd - The loading of the flash objects is delayed until after the rest of the page loads. The main reason for this is to prevent the screen going blank/flashing when navigating between pages. I'm using the following default values: width=640,height=390 Code
<center><div id="vid_{RAND%}" class="lightborder" style="background:url(http://i.ytimg.com/vi/{content}/0.jpg) no-repeat center center;width:{width}px;height:{height}px;margin=0;padding=0;">

The code I posted earlier, and which you inserted into your own custom-comcode had an error. I've edited it. Please edit your custom-comcode, and that frame should appear. Thanks. |

I probably shouldn't have mucked around at all. It looked to me like you were trying to play a video but didn't have HTML permission so I put it through the youtube tag – but this is the standard tag, I was not trying to reproduce any exact HTML. Sorry for the chaos. If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation.
