Yes, sadly yes..    I was on long work asigment(im replying as guest, i have forgotten my details) and left my friend to take care site while i was gone. When i got back, site was gone. He said he accidentally deleted all, while making backup..

Tried to figure out what to do with my domain/site, didnt have "will power" to build it back from scratch.

That's a bummer. Hope you get "inspired" one day to get it back up and running again. If you email Chris I am sure he'll help you get your details (from here) so you can log back in.

Thanks for replys. I do hope same, that i find time/power to (re)-build DF. Its expensive to lay as "un-used"

It takes time to bring Dragons Files back, but im working on it.
( also its not going to be based on same idea fully )

And this time im only one managing, so no more "accidents" LOL

Glad you found the "inspiration" to go and rebuild your website. OcPortal is a great platform to build a website, it is hard or maybe impossible to find a CMS with so many features and potential and the community is great support. Still you must be a 'can do' person and keep at it till your satisified with it.

I will be interested to see what it looks like when you are done (again!). I like the name Dragons Files …like dragon flies but harder to pronounce, LOL! Have great success and speed on your task.

Hello all!

I believe it's suitable for me to use this thread and inform you that new ocPortal user is trying to get "in" to this awesome CMS.

I've been always Wordpress (not advertising) user. And recently i was thinking on getting "more power in my hands" or atleast trying to get LOL. Main site is/was running Wordpress, Download Zone (sub-domain) was running PHCDownload and it got hammered down by two users and my provider closed my account. Had to pay for getting site back. Images were on different sub-domain too and it was getting real pain/really hard to maintain and monitor all.

Few days ago i was talking with my friend about this sub-domain havoc i've been "suffering" and he said he tried using ocPortal in past and suggested/recommended it to me. Been reading alot of these forums and i'm really impressed on what ocPortal can do! I installed ocPortal and moved (temporarily) current main site to sub-domain while i work on getting familiar with ocPortal and actually getting site up and running using it

Almost forgot: i'm new owner of Dragons Files. I started long process of reviving Dragons Files in 1st of may 2010 as my friend gave up.

Good to see that you are reviving Dragons Files and wishing all the best with it. ocPortal is a great CMS platform to build on so it will be interesting to see your website develop. Lots of activity on the Forum usually so if you have questions or problems this place is generally a fountain of good information and you'll find members here willing to help you in your effort to get Dragons Files back online.

All this info is very over overwhelming, i find myself digging deeper and deeper on ideas etc and i'm sure i need (alot) of help soon.

So far i have not done much, been really busy on my lousy IRL job what takes near all my free time :/

Don't be afraid to ask. A lot of creativity has come from questions. And good to see Dragon Files being revived… and back with ocPortal.

Currently i'm writing/drawing "mindmap" on paper. I think that helps me gathering my thoughts in one area at time. And that makes it somewhat easier for me.

Being ex-WP man, this is like whole new unexplored world. If some of you have experience on WP, knows what i mean

Also i'm busy translating Process Lasso to Finnish
(few hundred lines ATM needs to be updated/translated)

Due lack of (free) time i move ocPortal to top secret and un-indexed sub-domain and i work on it when i can squeeze extra time.

"Basic HTML" version coming soon temporarily.

Hopefully it won't take too long to dive in to ocPortal.
