Of course after making a great product for free the last thing ocProducts can afford is free individual tuition too. So we've decided that we will trial a referral scheme. If you refer commercial work to us, you'll be given 5% of the value back in support credits to spend with us as you wish. This is a great way for us to be able to help you out further, and to help you help us. We're in constant need of projects to pay the bills and to continue innovating. Sometimes it seems like we're "programming Gods", and sometimes businesses can seem inhuman or money-grabbing, but actually we're people who work very hard and make big long-term personal commitments, with big bills to pay. And unlike other lame web design companies we have to compete with on a daily basis, we're always aiming for the stars and taking our community with us. We really need your support in our mission, but thankfully this time we can help you back in the process! You can find all about our business offerings from the ocProducts part of this site. You probably know at least one organisation, upstart, trader, or some other contact, who needs a site doing – all you need to do is identify this, and sell them on our services, and send us the details of the referral. So, time to get started The smallprint:
We suggest that you are open with whoever you are referring, if they realise you'll get a referral but think you are hiding this, it is likely to reflect poorly on you. Also, of course don't refer work you don't think we could do – e.g. print design work, PR strategy, IT network support. Things like mobile apps are fine.

If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |

Anyway… With ocPortal, it's important to me it's not about ocProducts. We are like a 'primary sponsor', but there is a partner directory (for partners of ocPortal really) and freedom for trade in the community. So other companies that might provide more localised/specialised services can certainly come along and make similar kinds of offers if they want to. I'm not concerned about competition because I'm confident our investments and expertise will be recognised, and also that there is room here for many others if we work together. Then go over to the tutorials which can be found in the support link at the top of the page. There you will find most everything you could ever want to know clearly spelled out step by step. You will also find those tutorials linked all over your admin zone and linked directly to the tutorial for what you are trying to do. If after doing the above you are still having troubles then come back. Start your own topic and you will likely find many happy, friendly people eager to welcome you in and help you out. |

Regardless, if you delete the sources/hooks/systems/cron/catalogue_view_reports.php file that will remove the code that sends them. Thanx loads for your response. Its definitely coming from my main website. I just realised I hadn't killed off the catalogue I thought I'd killed off but like I say it was def empty and I'd def ticked the box to stop the reports.. And that's what I thought...that the reports may have already been initiated before I killed everything so I had already waited. So I have def killed off that catalogue and if it still keeps doing it I will kill the file you say that sends the reports. As long as I can stop it one way or another as I want to gain members not loose them-LOL thanx again Diana x |
