Hi my name is LightWolf, and I live in Washington State. I have decided to give this software a try, as I am looking to change my website up a bit. I am currently using another open source software and been with it for years, but seems to be all hype and no improvement. I just started today working on the look of the template, using the default one and adding my own spin on it. Seems to be coming along just fine and hope it has what I am looking for. Anyways I am sure you will be seeing me in the forums more now that I have cracked this bad boy open and playing with it..lol
It's great to have you aboard. I hope that ocPortal proves to be a solid solution for you. It's an absolutely great CMS with dedicated development that, to my estimation, exceeds that of the competition. Best of all, it all works together.
Thanks Bob, and sorry Temp didn't see the top part of the message..lol Being new to this forum takes a bit getting used to..lol Again, am very very sorry.
Welcome Lightwolf, a name from a another wel know open source cms I think. no matter what I hopen you can find your way out here. Ocp is really strong in many possibilitys.

Well lightwolf, I think ocP is more a framework where you can build a site that is needed, with a great communitie support and great developteam who respond when needed. Thats my experience in the two years I know this.
So happy webdevelopment.

I have been using OCP since 2005. I don't post a lot here cause I am very busy with my clients, but you can't beat the help you get from Chris and staff.

But you're correct. The level of service by Chris and staff is degrees above any other CMS I have used in the past. This is the kind of service I would expect from a paid commercial cms, not from one that is open source and free.

You are right, sholzy…I sit corrected. I could not complete a list that included all the help I have received over the years from members.
When I started using OCP it was not a free scriptl; although, it was open source. I actually had to purchase a license. I would still do that if it meant not being able to use OCP.
