When I re-login The template of the theme (default) is broken and characters look bad; the position of blocks are altered and menu admin is vertical instead of orizontal… a complete chaos! Reading some topic I realized that is a problem of character set option. Italian is set usually on uft8, but I don't find the option in admin section to set it. Where is? Thanks for your help. |

As for the layout, it is very common for people to translate the global language strings 'en_left' (left), 'en_right' (right) and 'dir' (ltr) wrongly. These are meant to be left in English unless you are using a right-to-left language like Arabic or Hebrew. If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |

Ok, I just had the same problem. I had to get rid of the lang_custom/IT/global.ini file I had which was blocking my po equivalent. Then I had to empty the language cache. That should do it.
