message cutting

I wish to delete the welcome message on my front page.
However when I did, a message appeared recomending that I dont. The message recomended that I use some code to hide the welcome message on the fron page, but it still keeps the code, which can be useful in another way.

What code do I use  to not have the welcome message on the front page.?

Find .screen_title in your custom theme's global.css and add display: none; at the end of the properties.

This will not be destructive, and it will suppress the display of the line you want to remove.

I am assuming that that is all you want to suppress?

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

the reason for the warning is Google expects a H1 level tag. Be careful hiding things from people but not from google as that can be seen as SEO bad practice. Especially if the H1 tag is hidden but viewable to Google on every page

If you remove the title as above google wont find it and it expects to so your site wont be as efficient in search engines as it could.

If you hide it from view but leave it in the code it is possible Google might think something strange is going on.

If it's just the front page perhaps you could move the title somewhere else just for that page, Perhaps below the main news with a description of what the site is about
